HVAC Service Technician & Tune-Up Specialist
About this role
Treat's is hiring Service Technicians and Tune-Up Specialists at all levels, from helpers to leads. This work is core to our Auburn Sheet Metal heritage. You will fabricate ductwork and sheet metal in our shop and install commercial HVAC venting and ductwork in the field.
Treat's Heating, Cooling & Electrical (Auburn Sheet Metal, Inc.) has been family-owned for over 50 years and is now in its third generation of leadership. We are a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer serving residential and commercial customers across South King and Pierce Counties, and we continue to grow.
We believe in a culture built on real values: Leadership, Teamwork, Excellence, Positive Upbeat Attitudes, Strong Work Ethic, Balance, and Fun. Our employees are not just staff, they are part of a genuine business family where your experience and skills are recognized and rewarded. With our steady mix of residential and commercial work, you will have work year round.
Don't let our Enumclaw location stop you from applying. We have trusted employees who live as far as Lakewood and report directly to job sites in Seattle, North Bend, Puyallup, and throughout South King and Pierce Counties. A weekly check-in at our Enumclaw office is required, but day to day you work where the work is.
What you'll do
- Diagnose and repair furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and ductless systems
- Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups for our Preferred Customer maintenance plan members
- Explain findings and options clearly to homeowners, with honest, repair-first recommendations
- Accurately document work performed, parts used, and recommendations
- Build trust with repeat customers and represent Treat's professionally on every visit
Who we're looking for
You like the detective work. A furnace that won't fire is a problem to chase down to the actual cause, not throw parts at, and when you find it you fix it right. You'd rather tell a homeowner the truth than close a sale: repair first, plain language, no pressure. That's why they ask for you by name. You want to be trusted with a truck and a schedule, not micromanaged. And you want a place to grow into: fifty years in, third generation, still family run, not owned by private equity three states away.
