HVAC Install Technician
About this role
Treat's is hiring HVAC Install Technicians at all levels, from helpers to crew leads. In this role you install heating and cooling systems in homes and light commercial buildings across the Plateau and the greater South King and Pierce County area. The work spans replacement and retrofit, residential new construction, and ductless heat pump systems.

Don't let our Enumclaw location stop you from applying. We have trusted employees who live as far as Lakewood and report directly to job sites in Seattle, North Bend, Puyallup, and throughout South King and Pierce Counties. A weekly check-in at our Enumclaw office is required, but day to day you work where the work is.
What you'll do
- Install furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and air handlers in residential and light commercial settings
- Install ductless mini-split and heat pump systems
- Complete replacement, retrofit, and residential new construction installations
- Run gas piping where required (training available; a plus, not a must)
- Set and connect equipment, ductwork, refrigerant lines, and electrical and control connections to code and manufacturer specifications
- Communicate clearly with the office and your crew, and represent Treat's professionally on every job sitebold text
Pay
$25-$70 per hour
Quarterly bonuses & overtime pay

Levels & What We're Looking For
- Helpers: mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn the trade
- Installers: hands-on HVAC installation experience and the ability to work independently
- Lead Installers: proven installation experience plus the ability to run a job site and guide a crew
Certifications such as EPA 608 and gas piping are a plus. We reimburse licensing and certification costs and provide continuing education, so the right helper can grow into an installer and beyond.
Pay Range
$25.00 to $70.00 per hour, depending on level, experience, and certifications.
- Helper: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
- Installer: $35.00 to $50.00 per hour
- Lead Installer: $50.00 to $70.00 per hour
Basic Requirements
- Valid driver's license and insurable
- Physically able to perform the job for which you are applying
- Hand tools appropriate to your skill set. Loaner tools are available, and we may be able to purchase them for you with small repayments from your paycheck
- Basic computer skills for your position, including email, smartphone, and iPad
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude on every job site
Schedule
Monday to Friday, full-time.
